LUMISTY VIEW CONTROL WINDOW FILM

LUMISTY is a single-ply window film with a nominal thickness of 200 microns which can be applied to the interior surface of windows, glazed partitions etc to provide view control for privacy, security and modesty purposes.

The change of LUMISTY between transparent and translucent occurs with a change in the angle from which it is viewed. LUMISTY appears the same, at any given angle, to viewers both sides of the glass, and does not privilege either viewer with a one-way privacy effect. However, by selecting the correct film type, it is possible to introduce the required vision control in many different situations.

LUMISTY can be applied to glass, acrylic and polycarbonate.

Each variation of the single-ply LUMISTY range has one view control angle. There is also a double-ply LUMISTY which has two view control angles and provides a wider invisible range than single-ply LUMISTY (see diagram below)

LUMISTY is used to enhance the eye-catching appearance of shop window displays in a wide variety of retail sectors. The view control window film can simply be added to an existing display or combined with special lighting effects such as back-projection.

LUMISTY active graphics can be made from the view control window film or cut clear out of a completely filmed panel, arranged so that the design is apparent from one angle but invisible from another. Images or logos which appear and disappear as you walk past can add impact to your message or logo.

NO REDUCTION IN LIGHT TRANSMISSION

In the translucent area, LUMISTY view control window film diffuses transmitted light and provides excellent invisibility without any reduction in the total light transmission compared with the transparent area.
